Delilah doesn't much care for solid foods :) She makes this "yucky" face every time she gets a mouthful of rice cereal or green beans. It is so funny! You would think she would get used to it, but she acts like it is the first time she has tasted it every time.
She had to go into the doctor for a weight check the other day because she was eating bad for about a week. She weighed 14 lbs. and 6 oz. at five months. She is really big for her birth weight being so small. She seems to be eating again, so it must have just been a little bit of tummy upset.
She is getting the giggles now when you kiss on her or make funny noises. Unfortunately, every time she laughs she gets the hiccups. And I do mean EVERY time! I feel so bad because it is fun making her laugh but then she pays for it with a half an hour of hiccups. She really doesn't like the hiccups. I was so excited to see her laughing and now I just feel bad for making her laugh. Really? As much as we have been through and the anxiety that I am still struggling to deal with, you would think the fun things like making your baby laugh could just be fun. But no, instead I have to watch her hiccup and spit up and then get upset and cry because she laughed. :( So anyway, she is really sweet for the 20 seconds she is laughing before the hiccups start.
She is going to be a year old in no time! I am just now starting her scrapbook. I have the first page done. So I hope I catch up soon :)
